It's a personal thing which one has to undergo. Okay, we can tell you about our 'stone-age' cinema, the unique succulent gardens, the giant Klaas Voogds Maze and all the other labyrinths and mazes, the shortest hiking trail in the Western Cape, the Philosophers Garden where visitors can gain some wisdom and we can tell you about our storytelling about which a German journalist wrote that the elusive Baron von Munchhausen is just an amateur in comparison with the "weird but passionate" storytellers of Soekershof. We can tell you about the maze of the year 4000, the numerous anonymous visits from outer space by the CIA (we became wordnews with that) which organisation went on 'red alert' when they thought to have discovered a 'covert military defense complex' with 'very sophisticated heavy anti-aircraft artillery' near Robertson in the Western Cape in South Africa (that is our Klaas Voogds Maze), we can tell you about our visitors but what we CANNOT tell you is your own personal experience. You will have to come and find out yourself.
Soekershof Walkabout is easy to find: From Cape Town via the N1 to worcester and at the second traffic light in Worcester turn left towards robertson. Keep on following this road till you see the sign Robertson (=left) and after a few hundred meters to the right (= at traffic lights). After 40 km there is robertson. Pass robertson towards Montagu Swellendam. From the circle (roundabout) at the end of robertson drive another 8 km until you see the sign Klaas Voogds West. Turn left into this gravel road. After 1 km there is first a cactus nursery. 100 meters further is the entrance of Soekershof.
